Better Business Bureau is a nonprofit, business-supported, standards-based organization that serves consumers with important business information and dispute resolution,  provides industry benchmarks for businesses to instill best practices, and offers accreditation for the purpose of highlighting trustworthy businesses. Our mission is to be the leader in advancing marketplace trust. We accomplish this mission by creating a community of trustworthy businesses, setting standards for marketplace trust, encouraging and supporting best practices, celebrating marketplace role models and denouncing substandard marketplace behavior.

This BBB is currently supported by approximately 10,000 Accredited Business locations and serves more than 6 million consumers in its 79-county service area in Texas.
